What is Amis Du Jazz?

Amis du Jazz is a non-profit, non-commercial, home-based music appreciation society.
Members request visiting guest artists and styles of music and Lynn McDonald (Artist Liaison) makes the arrangements.
Membership fees for weekly meetings ($15) serve as an honorarium for the visiting jazz artists who perform and answer questions in a unique interactive setting. Costs of the meetings are divided amongst the attending members.
There is no talking only listening during performances.
There is no smoking allowed.
Parking is on church property, including the circular driveway and on Simcoe St, south of the church and opposite the church as suggested by the Durham Regional Police, Sunderland Office.
The meetings follow a designated schedule as decided by the membership
All meetings start at 7pm unless otherwise indicated.
